This past Sunday (November 6, 2016), the Associazione Maria SS. di Costantinopoli di Castelgrande in Montreal held its annual fundraising banquet, “Cavatelli fatti con cuore alla Castelgrandese,” at Buffet Amiens in St-Leonard. Over forty volunteers started the day in the wee hours of the morning preparing the cavatelli that we would eat later on.

The banquet was a huge success with over 230 guests in attendance.

Proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Giant Steps Foundation, which supports the Giant Steps School, the only autism specific school to offer academic and social inclusion programs in Quebec.

The banquet’s special guests included Tracy Pennimpede from the Giant Steps Foundation and Italian Consolate General Marco Riccardo Rusconi.
